Yojimbo

It’s a great film. Now I didn’t watch it for action, I watched it for Kurosawa’s eye for a beautiful composition and all that mise en scène stuff, but I was a little disappointed with how lame and anti-climatic the sword-play was when he finally lets rip and takes out the remaining hoodlums. I just think they should have tried a bit harder with that bit. Really enjoyed the rest of the film.
