Fun fact: the title of this film is also my review of the film On the Silver Globe.

Anyway. This is like a cross between Pierrot le fou and the Carry On films.

Unlike the former, it leaves you with no food for thought.

Unlike the latter, the “sauce” isn’t cheeky, it’s violently mysoginistic.

It really is beautifully filmed, but in every other respect it’s either empty or just objectionable. Distaste side, the way it was filmed was why I enjoyed watching it.
