I haven’t seen this for 15 years or so. I liked it before, but I thought it was brilliant tonight. It’s aging very well.
I wouldn’t have appreciated the homages to Hitchcock’s Vertigo before; I particularly enjoyed the airport scene at the end with the blonde wig, running with arm outstretched dramatically, and all the facial close-ups; 😗👌

I bought the Criterion Collection blu ray after seeing the film La Jetée mentioned in the opening credits as being the inspiration for 12 Monkeys. I think I’ll have to give both Vertigo and 12 Monkeys a fresh watch after seeing that and Sans Soleil too; and I can’t wait!
