Top Gun: Maverick (2022) ♥

This film has a lot of heart. It made me feel emotional at many points; with nostalgia for the original, but not just that. It’s completely ludicrous. The whole premise is ludicrous, it’s got ludicrous characters, everything about it is completely stupid. I just let myself get carried along for the ride, and really loved it, more than the original even. It’s absolutely rammed full of CGI, but at least it’s quite good. Also, it’s actually a reenactment of the attack on the Death Star. Here concludes my incoherent review. Amen.
