About half an hour in I was thinking of switching it off; I didn’t find the relationship between the two of them all that convincing. Actually though, the film won me over later on.

I do wish I hadn’t looked at other reviews of this film on letterboxd. It’s frustrating to see reviews slamming it because they equate the depiction of something as the advocacy of that something.

Anyway, I’m not here to comment on other people’s reviews. I thought it was good. Sad and thought-provoking.
