Shogun Assassin

I watched the two films that this is a remix of recently and for that reason I wondered whether to watch this film at all based solely on some assumptions about what it must be like. Those assumptions couldn’t have been wrongerer! This film is a total trip! It’s a fever dream, loosely influenced by the two films it’s borrowing from. I have a lot of respect for the original films but I really love this one for completely different reasons! I want to watch it again, but completely baked; even though it’s been 15 years since the last time that happened… Lol!
