It’s a Wonderful Life without Hollywood’s overt sentimentality.

If you’re expecting Kurosawa’s incredible mise en scène, you won’t be disappointed. The night life scenes are particularly amazing visually!

The second part of the film is much more contemplative than the first. I’m sure it will be a little too slow for some, but it really gives you food for thought.
