Escape Plan

I don’t often give stars in my reviews but this one solidly deserves its 3 rating. It’s ok but honestly pretty mediocre. Nothing about it really stands out; everything is sub-par. The performances are ok but in the context of everything else they just come across as very generic. The relationship between Arnie and Stallone is unconvincing, and I think the script itself holds that back. The musical score helps to firm up the whole generic vibe, and there’s some pretty crap CGI too; cherry on the cake.
