Dune

Attempted to watch the Extended TV version which I bought on blu ray. It’s got around 10 minutes of introductory exposition with some quite nice painted storyboard type things, but as soon as the film started properly it became very I wasn’t going to be able to tolerate the 3 hours of almost VHS-like image quality and stuttering caused by poor re-encoding to 50Hz. I think I’ll have to try and tolerate it at some point; I do want to see it.
