China O'Brien (1990) ♥

I bought this on 4k after really enjoying Cynthia’s performance in Righting Wrongs, and then wanting more after seeing Yes Madam too. The problem with this film is that it just doesn’t make great use of her. The Hong Kong films kick so much ass and have crazy stunts and choreography, and this film pales in comparison really. I guess watching her dubbed over with Cantonese helps mask the wooden acting too. I still enjoyed it, but it’s not got the same rewatch value as the aforementioned Hong Kong flicks; Righting Wrongs particularly!
