Bob le Flambeur (1956) ♥

I do love some Melville, a lot, but this one falls a little short of his other works for me. The music seems a little incongruous and there’s some poor performances, from the two young ones particularly. Rififi far outclassed it for me; and later on Le Doulos and everything else Melville has done.
