A.I. Artificial Intelligence

Possibly the most disappointed and dismayed a film has ever made me feel!

It’s currently in the box I have of films to take to the charity shop, and yet I’m conflicted about whether I need to keep this one.

It was absolutely self-indulgent on Spielberg’s part; and I don’t know what he was thinking, but it seems to me that honouring Kubrick was the absolute last thing he cared about.

With that in mind, I simply cannot rationally assess this film, and it’s going to be some time before the fiery scorn I feel for it settles down enough for me to able to watch it again.

That may never happen of course.
